Fabric description
The fabric is woven by a weaver in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, a production center for yarn-dyed cotton. The color chosen from countless thread colors was apparently "a color they had never woven before," and the overlapping colors of the chambray resulted in a fascinating fabric with depth. The thickness and texture were also discussed in consultation, resulting in a one-of-a-kind fabric.
Extra-long staple cotton has an elegant luster like silk, despite being cotton.
Extra-long staple cotton is also superior in many ways, including feel, strength, moisture absorption, moisture release, and lightness.
It also has a unique moist feel.
The traditional slow-speed looms and low-temperature tumble processing create a relaxed texture that gives the fabric a unique feel that is characteristic of the weaver.
