Fabric description
The fabric is woven by a weaver in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, a region known for its pre-dyed cotton. The color selected from the countless thread colors available is said to be a “first-time woven color,” resulting in a deep, attractive fabric created by the layering of chambray colors. The fabric is also unique, having been created through consultations on thickness and texture.
Extra-long staple cotton has a silk-like luster despite being cotton.
It also excels in various aspects such as softness, strength, moisture absorption, moisture release, and lightness.
Its unique moisturizing feel is also a characteristic.
Using traditional slow-speed looms and low-temperature tumbler processing, the fabric is finished with a relaxed, textured feel unique to the weaver.
