Announcement of "Haori Exhibition - Osaka"
Share
Thank you very much to everyone who came to the recent Haori Exhibition in Tokyo.
Following Tokyo, the event will also be held in Osaka.
The history of the haori begins as an outer garment worn by aristocrats and samurai during the Heian period.
During the Edo period, it became popular as formal attire for samurai, and eventually became formal attire and everyday wear for townspeople.
Throughout the ages, haori has become a popular everyday garment worn by both men and women.
I hope this haori will wrap you snugly around your body and remind you of the Japanese spirit.
