A winter mochi-pounding festival for everyone to enjoy
Share
We will be holding the Mochitsuki Festival again this year.
I love mochi.
We all rolled the freshly pounded rice cakes into balls, baked them and ate them, enjoying the rich aroma and chewy texture that only freshly pounded rice cakes can provide. It was so delicious and made me so happy.
I would be happy if we could share this moment of smiles together.
This year, we will be making white rice mochi and brown rice mochi using glutinous rice from Kyotanba.
I hope to learn about Japanese traditions and handicrafts and connect them to the future.
